I think the maddest part of all of this is once he shoots murray he laughs his first genuine laugh, like hes finally happy. Its brilliant. The acting is incredible, you can see so many emotions within Arthur in mere moments.

3:00 Love the transition. One of my favorite scenes. Culprits become the victims. Take note of the grey hairs and the darker look in his eye. We're seeing post-Batman Joker realising he inadvertently created his own archenemy. I had a coworker who had this condition I met him 2 years after the dark knight with Heath ledger, I did not get it, I thought he was a dude who had a bunch of inside jokes, one time he scared me for laughing for no reason. Then the manager told me its a condition I was like huh 🤨😳😳, its not cool and creepy. He must feel terrible everyday, I felt sorry for him afterwards.
